Canada’s Digital Ad Industry Faces DST Disruption

The new Digital Services Tax (DST) is set to disrupt Canada’s $18B digital advertising ecosystem, hitting businesses hard. From agencies to publishers, everyone will feel the pinch of retroactive surcharges and rising costs—up to 10%—that threaten jobs, small businesses, and even cross-border trade with the U.S. It’s time to act before this tax reshapes the digital landscape.
